Due to massive business growth, we're looking for a number of qualified Crane Controllers who are committed to delivering first class customer service.
The role: Due to fast growth, we are now looking to recruit 2 Crane Controller (CC). The role will be full-time and will consist of on-going work for a minimum of 12 months. The candidate must have previous experience in the same role, hold current Network Rail Crane Controller qualifications and be able to demonstrate competency as well as holding a valid PTS. They will also need to have an in date medical, full UK driving licence and have had a D&A completed within the last 3 months.
Travel: The successful candidates will be required to work / travel across the country to sites in the Midlands, Home Counties, Crewe, Manchester, Doncaster and must be willing to work days, nights and weekends to cover 24 hour / 7 day week operations.
Support: As a member of the RSS team candidates will receive full product and equipment training followed by onsite mentoring. Successful applicants will be required to undergo full Behavioural Based Safety Training (BBS) as part of their induction. BBS is a process that aims to reduce unsafe behaviours that can lead to incidents occurring on work-sites and helps to ensure that the team work to the highest standards expected by our clients.
Future training may also be provided as the role changes however, this will be subject to the needs of the business. The candidate may also be given additional equipment needed to carry out their duties, subject to them meeting our criteria.
